For the first subfolder you create in a folder, XP gives a screen that looks like this:
Not that in the "File and Folder Tasks" area you get two options. For the second or any subsequent folders, Windows XP gives you this:
Note that now you get a completely different set of options in the "File and Folder Tasks" area on the left. The information on the status bar is also different. Why not have the two be the same? Anyone know?

Options for creating new folders in OS X are consistent and reasonable... unlike options for XP.
